Facilitator Profile:

Muhammad Arif-ur-Rahman is a professional management consultant. His areas of expertise are Financial Management, Project Management, Business Process Improvement, ERP, Accounting Information Systems, Financial Planning, Risk Management and Information Technology. He has experience of working in British investment, energy and agricultural industries.

Mr Rahman is also working as the Senior Assessment Planner for Bangladesh Unit of Caprilas Certifications. He is a member of various international accounting, finance and project management bodies. Mr Rahman is a finance graduate and certified professional management accountant. He has postgraduate degrees on project management, financial risk management and Islamic finance. Mr. Rahman also has a number of IT certifications from Microsoft, Aptech and ICDL.

At present Mr. Rahman is working on an international academic research programme dedicated to improve corporate training methods and outcomes. He is also working with a few Kuala Lumpur based training providers both in Malaysia and Bangladesh.

Preface about Program:
The CIMA certificate in business accounting is CIMA's own entry route to the CIMA professional qualification. It is an internationally recognized finance and accounting qualification highly valued by global employers. The certificate is awarded from CIMA in United Kingdom and it is recognized by MNCs, Higher Educational Institutes and British, Canadian and Australian Immigration authorities.

The course provides an excellent overview of Accounting, Finance, and Business Management which is essential for becoming successful in corporate career. CBA qualification can add significant value to your career and organization. With the knowledge and skills gained from this course you can easily establish your position in strategic management of your organization.

All five subject examinations within the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting qualification are sat at CIMA approved assessment centres using computer based assessment (CBA) methodology. Exam fee payment of BDT 50,000.00 will enable students to sit for the examinations in October 2012.

The pass mark for each of the five examinations is 50% and permanent credit is awarded for any subject in which the candidate scores 50% or more. Each subject examination will be two hours.
