The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (GoB), with financial assistance from The World Bank has been implementing the innovative Empowerment and Livelihood Improvement “Nuton Jibon” Project (IDA Credit No 4757-BD)through Social Development Foundation (SDF) with the objective of providing assistance to the vulnerable communities in 16 districts of the country. SDF invites applications for the following position from Bangladeshi Nationals who are highly experienced, competent, motivated and willing to accept the challenges of implementing a large donor funded project working for disadvantaged people particularly in the rural areas. The work involves frequent travel (about 50% of time) to the project areas.

Responsibilities :
	This is the second layer management position in SDF. Reporting to the Managing Director, s/he will be responsible for overall management and implementation of the project by the Regional, District and Cluster teams. He is accountable for functional coordination and monitoring of all programs as per Project Appraisal Document (PAD) and Project Implementation Plan (PIP).

Educational Requirements :
	Minimum Masters degree in any discipline preferably in Social Science/ Economics/ Agriculture.

Experience Requirements :
	Minimum 25 years of work experience in development field, of which at least 15 years experience in senior management positions in community development/ rural development/ poverty alleviation and similar projects/ programs in Large Organizations/ Departments or Donor financed projects in the Government/ Autonomous bodies.

Additional Requirements :
	Must have adequate knowledge and experience in administrative and financial management, in managing large number of staff and proven experience in interacting with rural community. He must be computer literate and should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bangla.

Salary Range :
	80,000-4,000×10-1,20,0000 plus house rent (60%) and other allowances and facilities admissible under SDF Rules.
