North South University (NSU) is seeking a technically proficient, creative and highly motivated Director of Information Service Department (ISD) for providing leadership, supervision, planning, designing and management of supporting NSU Network System, Integrated University Management System & Web Portal Development. He/she should manage & coordinate functioning of the NSU Website, Student Information Management Software (SIMS), Library Management Software (LMS), Accounting Software, Advising Software, On-line Admission, HR, Payroll and Attendance Management Software etc.

 Responsibilities include but not limited to: Overall supervision of technical and personnel operations of the NSU Information Services Department and coordinate with all the NSU departments & divisions to serve their information services need. Overall management/strategic decision making and planning of the Digitally Integrated University Management System. Help, develop and implement plans, policies and procedures for above system. Supervise & management of Integrated Digital System, Web Portal Development. Fully knowledgeable and experienced with CISCO System. |

B. S. and M. S. degree (higher degree also welcome) in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Communication Technology / Software Engineering or allied disciplines. |

|
|
|
Minimum 15 (fifteen) years practical experience in systems development and management including 5 (five) years as a senior manager or equivalent position in overall management and operation of the ERP in an University, Telecom operator, a large Corporation, Bank and ISP software system. |
|
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
The candidate must have working experience with multiple operating systems like MS windows, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, Unix-free BSD and hands on experience with router/switch configuration and Fiber-optical systems, web servers. He/she must have experience in using computer high level & low level, languages and also experience in using CMS systems. He/she should have good understanding on Network Security and data integration. |
