The Manager-Protection For Empowerment Project (PEP) is responsible for leading and ensuring implementation of a project title “Community-based Protection and Empowerment of Children with Disabilities in Bangladesh” funded by IKEA Foundation, that aim to create positive results in the lives of the poorest, marginalised and most vulnerable children with disabilities through providing Care and Protection as well as Education. Maintain close communications with partners and other members of the VAC & Employment for Youth Employment (EYE) team of Education, will liaison with relevant ministries attached to the concern of disability, members of the other child protection agencies as well as other thematic and support departments in Save the Children International – Bangladesh.
 
         
   


Masters degree in relevant discipline.
 
 
   


At least 6 years of progressively responsible professional work experience with 3 years in a managerial position in participatory program planning, management, monitoring and evaluation within a development NGO or an INGO.
 
 
     


The candidate should have experience in managing programs and experience on child protection, managing programs and technical skill focusing people with disabilities preferably children with disabilities, managing child rights focus projects and ability to managing and working with partner NGOs.

Basic knowledge in the rights of children with disabilities issues in Bangladesh and technical knowledge in the relevant issues is highly desirable.

Skill required is ability to planning and organising, information technology, analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making, financial management, result oriented.
